The God of this World

Often I hear people blame God for their sickness, their poverty, the death of a family member, etc. How can someone believe in God and not believe in Satan? Satan is the God of this world. (Luke 4:5-7 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine) Satan has dominion over the entire earth. He is the one that causes us problems, not God. (I John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.) There is no darkness in God! He sees us as perfect and wants us to be healthy and prosperous. Take a look at Psalms 103, this is an amazing chapter that we must study and believe. In verse 3 it tells us that He forgives us for all our iniquities and He heals all our diseases. In verse 4 He redeems our life from destruction and He crowneth us with lovingkindness and tender mercies. In verse 8 it says that He is merciful, gracious, and slow to anger. In verse 12 it tells us, as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. In verse 17 it says the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. Stop blaming God and start believing what He says in His Word. Satan does exist and we must not be ignorant of how he operates. (I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant;because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour) We must study His Word.
